On October 9–10, 2025, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF) was honored to welcome Professor Artem Rogovsky from Michigan State University (MSU), USA, for an academic visit and seminar with the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine.


During the seminar, Professor Rogovsky delivered a presentation titled “Bacterial Diseases Caused by Borrelia spp. – Pathogenesis, Diagnosis, and Research Directions.” The talk provided an overview of recent advances in the study of Borrelia infections, focusing on bacterial pathogenesis, host immune responses, and modern diagnostic techniques.


The seminar attracted the participation of the faculty board, lecturers, graduate students, and undergraduate studentsfrom the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. The discussion session was lively and engaging, reflecting strong interest in the topic of tick-borne diseases and ongoing research related to Borrelia bacteria.
As part of his visit, Professor Rogovsky also met with representatives of the university and the faculty to discuss future opportunities for collaborative research, academic exchange, and postgraduate training between Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry and Michigan State University.


The visit and seminar by Professor Artem Rogovsky not only strengthened international academic cooperation but also opened up new learning and research opportunities for HUAF faculty members and students.
