Poultry Farming Club

The “Poultry Farming – Vietswan” Club is a forum for students of the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University to connect with each other and with corporate partners (Vietswan Company) for career development, with a special focus on industrial poultry farming. Members voluntarily join to share and equip themselves with knowledge, experience, and practical skills in poultry farming, as well as soft skills and general competencies. The club’s activities focus on providing practical knowledge and honing hands-on poultry farming skills alongside other essential competencies for its members.

The club was officially launched on June 8, 2020, with the following main objectives:

  • Early career orientation: Foster passion for animal husbandry and build an active movement for learning, research, and practical experience among students of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine.

  • Dynamic learning environment: Provide a platform where students can proactively share professional knowledge, technical poultry farming skills, and social activity competencies.

  • Stronger connections: Enhance the bond between Students, the Faculty, and Enterprises to improve training quality and meet labor market demands in the poultry industry.

  • Corporate involvement: Create opportunities for Vietswan to share practical industry knowledge, professional skills, and soft skills with students, promote its brand and products, and provide career path orientation for graduates to work at Vietswan Company.

Club Activities:

  • Academic Forums: Organize academic sessions by topic, featuring faculty members from the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine and experts from Vietswan Company to consolidate knowledge and share new techniques in poultry farming and veterinary medicine.

  • Practical Farming Models: Implement real-world poultry farming models at the Thuy An Experimental Farm to help students practice hands-on technical skills.

  • Commercialization: Market and sell products (chicken, eggs) generated from the club’s farming models under the club’s brand.
