From March 6 to March 8, 2025, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, conducted a working trip and signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Mahasarakham University and Kalasin University in Thailand.
As part of the visit, the leadership of the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, along with the university delegation, held working sessions with the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Mahasarakham University, as well as the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at Kalasin University.
The meetings resulted in a mutual agreement to strengthen collaboration between the institutions in key areas: student exchange programs, enhanced cooperation in scientific research, and further discussions on developing a joint credit transfer program in the future.
Both parties agreed to implement the initial plan as early as the summer of the 2025 academic year. The Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, will select students with strong academic performance and English proficiency to participate in a short-term (1–2 weeks) exchange program at Mahasarakham University and Kalasin University. This program offers students a valuable opportunity to engage in cultural exchange and gain exposure to modern facilities and specialized learning environments in Thailand.
