On May 19–20, 2025, a delegation from the “University Social Responsibility (USR) StrayLOHAS Project Group” of National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan, visited and worked with the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University.
On the morning of May 19, the delegation held a working session with the leadership of the Faculty, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Dung, Dean of the Faculty. The head of the delegation was Assistant Prof. Dr. Teng Kendy from the College of Veterinary Medicine, NCHU.
During the meeting, both sides introduced their institutions and discussed potential future cooperation programs. Within the framework of the USR StrayLOHAS Project, hosted by NCHU, three short-term scholarships will be awarded to students, allowing them to study in Taiwan for 14 days.
The objective of this exchange program is to strengthen educational cooperation and provide students with opportunities to enhance their clinical skills in small animal practice and broaden their knowledge of animal welfare.


On the afternoon of May 19, the delegation conducted interviews with students who applied for the short-term exchange program in Taiwan in 2025.
A total of nine students participated in the interview session, which was conducted primarily in English.
According to the schedule, on May 20, the delegation will visit and work at the Veterinary Clinic of the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, as well as several veterinary clinics in Hue City.
The delegation will also visit the Center for Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Practice and Training, which is under the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University.
