In accordance with the plan of the Party Committee of the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, on the afternoon of January 18, 2025, the Party Cell of the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine solemnly held its Congress for the 2025–2027 term.
Attending and directing the Congress was Comrade Trần Thanh Đức, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University.
On behalf of the Party Cell Executive Committee, Comrade Đinh Văn Dũng, Secretary of the Party Cell, presented the Political Report at the Congress. The report highlighted that during the 2022–2025 term, the Party Cell effectively upheld its leadership role. The combativeness and exemplary conduct of each Party member were enhanced. The Cell provided democratic and comprehensive leadership in all aspects of the Faculty’s activities, with a strong emphasis on political and ideological guidance, unity building, and the successful implementation of political tasks in training, scientific research, and technology transfer.
During the term, the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine made significant progress in education development, staff training, and scientific research. The Party Cell members consistently demonstrated firm political will, affirming the strength and leadership role of the Party in all faculty and union activities. The political tasks of the Faculty and its affiliated organizations were successfully accomplished. A comparison between the 2022–2025 Congress Resolution and the achievements of the past two years shows that the Party Cell has fulfilled its leadership responsibilities effectively.
In his directive speech at the Congress, Comrade Trần Thanh Đức, Secretary of the Party Committee, highly appreciated the achievements that the Faculty’s Party Cell had accomplished in leading and implementing the resolution of the 2022–2025 term. He expressed his hope that the Party Cell would continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, and creativity to further lead the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine toward greater development, maintaining its position as a leading faculty within the university.
At the Congress, in a spirit of democracy, openness, and frankness, Party members of the Cell contributed many valuable opinions. They highlighted the achievements of the 2022–2025 term while also candidly acknowledging the shortcomings that need to be addressed. These constructive discussions aim to help the Party Cell enhance its leadership capacity and continue guiding the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine to uphold its tradition and achieve further development.
